Previewing the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV

Is it possible to make the fantastic Chevy Equinox even better? Yup. All you have to do is swap out the gas engine for a battery pack and an electric motor or two, and you’re left with the excellent 2024 Chevy Equinox EV. Check out this preview of this all-new, all-electric SUV. 

Power

The base Chevy Equinox EV has a single motor on its front axle that produces 210 horsepower. You could also go with the two-motor, all-wheel drive version that puts out 290 horsepower.

Driving Range and Charging Time

The base Chevy Equinox EV will let you travel up to 250 miles when the battery is fully charged. Upper trims have bigger, higher-capacity batteries with a manufacturer-estimated range of 300 miles. With a DC Fast Charging station, you’ll be able to add 70 miles of range in just 10 minutes.

Interior

The Chevy Equinox EV has a roomy cabin accommodating up to five people. You can equip yours with many comfort features, including seats with heating and power-adjustment features. As for tech, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ will be standard, along with an 11-inch touchscreen. Available features will include an upgraded 17-inch touchscreen, navigation, and a Wi-Fi® hotspot.

Safety

Chevy models are built to help keep you safe, and the Chevy Equinox EV is no exception. Automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and lane keep assist are all standard features. You can also get adaptive cruise control with a hands-free driving mode.
